The planet carriers are divided into single-arm and double-arm types made from forged blanks. After rough machining, the planet carrier undergoes overall quenching and tempering treatment. Precise hole boring is performed on a Mazak vertical machining center, ensuring high positional accuracy. Internal splines are either slotted or broached.
